Salzburg

Salzburg - A day of sight seeing

Today we drove an hour from our camp site to Salzburg, the journey was through the
mountains, along windy roads surrounded by alpine trees, a very pleasant journey indeed.

We took a short walk from the underground car park along the river.

until we arrived at Mozartplatz where you can find a statue of Motzart who was born in Salzburg in 1747

Fontana del Residenza

We visited the Hohensalzburg Fortress with its furnicular railway
Which has some of the most amazing views of the city

We visited the museum inside the fortress and here are a few of their exhibits.
All the written description is in German, so your guess is as good as ours.

We know this one lol

Kapitelplatz fountain

Salzburg Cathedral

Some other oddities we found around Salsburg

and finally the horse and carriages that tour the city

A wonderful day in a wonderful city.
